The Moorish Castle was definitely worth a visit while in Sintra. The views from the top were incredible, and walking along the old stone walls was a unique experience. It’s more of a ruin than a castle, so don’t expect furnished rooms or exhibits, but the history and setting are impressive. There’s a fair bit of walking and stairs, so wear good shoes and bring water—especially if it’s hot. It wasn’t overly crowded when we went in the morning, which made it more enjoyable. Overall, a great stop if you like history, nature, or photography.

Took this thinking that the audio guide would be for both Moorish Castle and Quinta de Regaleira. Alas, it was only for the Moorish Castle. And tickets could not be refunded or changed. The audio guide for the Moorish Castle did not work at time since there is no signal at the place. But both are beautiful places.

Convenient acquisition and quick entry. However, the venue has no infrastructure whatsoever to receive visitors. Full of renovations and interdictions, with no toilets or cafeteria, the price of tickets should have been half-price or less. It was disappointing, after so much walking and effort, not to find a place to rest, relieve ourselves and refresh ourselves.

With The Ticket on the Phone I had direct access No need to go through the ticket office I recommend going straight to the entrance. The first walls do not have much to see All the others are worth doing (beware that one side is empty) Ae you can go early in the morning when it opens, there are few people there

Although the weather was against us when we visited the castle, the visit was still worth every penny. It is inexpensive to visit the castle and the ruins are very impressive. On a clear day you will be able to see for miles.
