La reserva ha ido muy bien. A mi gusto me faltaron explicaciones del uso del lugar y ubicación de los diferentes baños. Sin lugar a dudas, las instalaciones son espectaculares pero un poco liosas para acceder desde los cambiadores.

La piscina grande coperta è bellissima ma la temperatura non è adeguata. La vasca adeguata è quella in fondo ma è ridotta e i getti erano spenti. Da verificare in altra occasione.

The building is beautiful and we enjoyed the thermal pools.The lunch was tasty. The receptionist was NOT helpful or welcoming. Our experience with some other staff was not positive either. I have mobility issues and went for some hydrotherapy. The stairs were a problem and there appeared to be no lift.

I liked the indoor thermal pools, but I did not expect that the outside was practically closed and that there was no possibility of massage because it was already all booked. I stayed for a couple of hours.

Plan a spa day at the prestigious Gellert Thermal Baths, one of the most prestigious spas in Budapest and the rest of Europe since 1918. Often referred to as the ‘Palace of Baths’, for centuries these thermal waters were used for relaxation and treatment purposes. Soak up the exquisite art-nouveau architecture that is made up of turquoise and marine-green Zsolnay mosaics and ceramics, neo-classical cherub statues, and botanical friezes.

With a number of different pools including thermal pools, swimming pools, and an outdoor thermal bath – Gellert is truly a place to indulge all your senses. Many of the pools have underwater jets for aqua massage therapy and are filled with natural spring water. Check out the different massages available – many are quick and refreshing – and spend some time in the sauna.

What to bring

Bring a sun hat and sunscreen for warmer days.
A swimming cap is required in the swimming pool but not in the other thermal pools.

Food and drinks can be purchased on-site.
Pregnant guests must consult their doctor before visiting. Massages are not provided to pregnant women.
Guests having medical conditions should consult their doctor before visiting.
On May 1st (Labor Day in Hungary), the ticket prices are different: Ticket with cabin: 32€ and ticket with locker: 29€
Dress Code: Swimwear is compulsory attire to be worn at the spa as this is a mixed bath complex. Any decent swimwear is allowed for both men and women but burkinis are, unfortunately, not allowed.
Flip-flops are the most ideal type of footwear.
