Paris for history geeks

Amazed at the architecture of the whole building & how many paintings & sculptures etc that were actually in there! Our young guide Anais was absolutely brilliant, his English was great & his knowledge about the Louvre, its surroundings the paintings & sculptures was fantastic, he told us so much of the history of everything that he was a joy to listen to! Myself & my daughter really enjoyed the tour! Thank You Debbie Briggs

Your guide not very good at all. Very limited information about the site. Having been on a large number of guided tours recently this guide fell very short of expectations and I would not recommend him. When we got to the second level the summit was closed it was about 1030pm when asked he said it was "too hot" he disappeared told us to get a refund but 20 minutes later it was open again so we went my up ourselves.

Great place. Loved everything. Apart from the heat everything was fine. The guide, Bo , was very detailed. Also liked the way she presented the palace. Overall great trip.

Ho acquistato 2 biglietti per Sainte Chapelle & Conciergerie, l'aquisto è stato semplice e i prezzi migliori dei siti governativi. L'ingresso della cappella è sempre abbastanza affollato, ma siamo entrati in perfetto orario. I gruppi non sono troppo numerosi e si può godere della splendida vista senza disturbo. Visitare queste due location è a mio avviso d'obbligo, la Sainte Chapelle da sola vale il prezzo del biglietto, piccolina ma affascinante più di Notredame, con tutto il rispetto.

The entry was smooth and the headsets worked perfectly as we made our way through the tunnels. Very well explained, interesting in its delivery presenting wonderful ithistorical content. It is clean, well organized, easy to walk through and well worth it. I would highly recommend.

I love river cruises and going through the locks was a bonus. Very fun and also informative. The guide was excellent. Worth the price!

Guida veramente empatica, Alex, a lui vanno tutte le 5 stelle e oltre! Iniziamo il tour avvicinandoci all'ingresso della Basilica e ci fornisce tutti i dettagli della parte frontale...siamo dentro dopo circa 10 minuti. Coda piuttosto celere, comprensiva di controllo.All'interno Alex ci descrive tutte le opere salienti ( la mia preferita in assoluto è l'organo a 8000 canne, riportato allo splendore originale dopo l'incendio). Tutto spiegato con dettaglio e l'ausilio di un album di fotografie che ha utilizzato per mostrarci la differenza rispetto al passato, o alcuni elementi decorativi da dover conoscere. Al termine dello splendido percorso, avremmo potuto partecipare ai vespri, ma con un bimbo di 6 anni diventa piuttosto impegnativo, quindi scattiamo qualche foto ed usciamo.
