The tour guide was amazing. We were late arriving which must have been really annoying. Security checks on bank cards made paying for a taxi fare onerous. However, the tour guide and another guest waited patiently for us. The tour was so very interesting and informative. My last visit to Notre-Dame was in 2017, so to see it refurbished after the fire was hugely impressive. The guide talked us through the history of Notre-Dame and all of the artworks within. He gave detail on each of the small chapels lining each side of the building and described the meaning of the biblical scenes lining the choir. We spent some time looking at the various stained glass windows. Some of which are very old and others more recent or repaired using traditional techniques.

Alex was very knowlegable about Notre Dame. He made the tour very fun as we anwered questions and received points. It was entertaining and we were told the history of the cathedral and the kings and Napolean. We really enjoyed it. Christina, Ben, Paul, Alexandra and Charlotte from Australia.

Ce que je n'ai PAS aimé : Pas de billet coupe-file; longue demi-heure d'attente dans la queue. Pas de visite de l'extérieur (comme affichée), seulement de l'intérieur. Observation stricte de l'ordre "Silence" ("ssshhhhhh..." tous les trois minutes, très ennuyeux), ce qui faisait parfois inaudible le commentaire (en somme compétent) du guide, qui se concentrait trop (toujours à mon avis) sur les grandes peintures (plutôt médiocres) de l'église, et pas assez sur l'histoire de la construction, les rénovations et sa renaissance après l'incendie. Le tout en peu décevant, vite fait et superficiel.

la visite de notre dame menée par notre guide Hugo était exceptionnelle . Nous avions eu un passage historique et émouvant à l'intérieur de cette cathédrale. Hugo est très pedagogue et clair dans son parcours . Nous avions beaucoup aimé les vitraux et ses reflets et les tableaux dans les chappelles. Je vous recommande sans hésitation.
