The guide explained the cathedral is no longer allowing interior group tours. He explained the history and exterior facade very well but had to leave us in the queue for the interior. You can wait in line (we waited 1 hour in the heat) or you can book on-line but only up to 2 days ahead. They seem to open the pre-bokable tickets at midnight (Paris time) to book to avoid pre-booking weeks ahead. This gives those in Paris a chance to book. You will then have only a few minutes to wait. As expected inside is very congested with a one-way system. It is all very clean and bright and new of course.

We had the pleasure of touring Notre Dame with Keeshia today, and she made the experience truly memorable. I have waited 40 years to come to Paris. Seeing Notre-Dame in person brought tears to my eyes. Natalie was a Wonderful guide. She met our group with a friendly smile and in many languages for those present. Her knowledge was stellar, and she carried an iPad filled with photos to accompany that with imagry, making the beautiful cathedrial breathe.

Guida veramente empatica, Alex, a lui vanno tutte le 5 stelle e oltre! Iniziamo il tour avvicinandoci all'ingresso della Basilica e ci fornisce tutti i dettagli della parte frontale...siamo dentro dopo circa 10 minuti. Coda piuttosto celere, comprensiva di controllo.All'interno Alex ci descrive tutte le opere salienti ( la mia preferita in assoluto è l'organo a 8000 canne, riportato allo splendore originale dopo l'incendio). Tutto spiegato con dettaglio e l'ausilio di un album di fotografie che ha utilizzato per mostrarci la differenza rispetto al passato, o alcuni elementi decorativi da dover conoscere. Al termine dello splendido percorso, avremmo potuto partecipare ai vespri, ma con un bimbo di 6 anni diventa piuttosto impegnativo, quindi scattiamo qualche foto ed usciamo.

Andrea hat die Tour auf Englisch gemacht. Wir konnten sie gut verstehen und hat sich unsrem Tempo angepasst. Ihre Ausführungen zum Wiederaufbau der Notre Dame waren sehr detailreich und kompetent. Ihr Auftreten war sehr sympathisch und zugewandt. Sie ließ viele Aspekte in ihren Beschreibungen einfließen: historisch, kulturell, kunstgeschichtlich und theologisch und dabei sehr kurzweilig! Wir können sie als Giude sehr empfehlen!

Le guide trés bien.Mais je trouve imprésentable qu'aprés avoir payé 60€/personne pour la visite... nous ayons du faire la queue pendant une heure au soleil á plus de 40° parce que vous ne prenez pas les entrées á Notre Dame online chose qui nous aurait eviter de faire la queue. De toute maniere le prix est abusif etant donné que l'entrée est gratuite....

Guide très sympa #youri, visite de l'extérieur intéressante, cependant nous avons Pas compris pourquoi la visite intérieure a été annulée ! Et très déçus d'avoir à refaire la queue pour rentrer dans NDP pendant 1 h en plein soleil ! Prix du billet avec guide 40€/pers pour visite complète .
