The luxury saloon boat cruise was the cherry on top of my trip to Amsterdam. After lacking inspiration for things to do in the city, my sister and I booked this tour last minute and were so glad we did. The tour took off right from central station, downtown and there were very clear directions on the ticket for how to reach the dock. We were greeted by lovely staff and boarded an absolutely gorgeous, covered boat-- which was great to escape the sun but still feel the cool breeze off the water. The tour guides were amazing, funny, and constantly making sure every group had the best experience they could. We learned a lot about the history of the city and saw so much in just an hour.

Cruise around town was lovely. Food of cheese and other items was very nice. More than I thought it would be. Wine was served and they gave as much as you wanted. It is not a cruise with a lot of information about Amsterdam more of a leisurely journey with food and music.

Kevin and Maurice were fabulous! And the skipper think name is Ombré? All were so happy and knowledgeable and made the trip one to remember. Great chat and laughter and hospitality. Will def recommend to others!

Due to negligence by staff working on the dock we almost ended up on the wrong boat. We also expected more cheese but the great wine and the fun we had thanks to our guide Sophia made up for it. That woman is so funny and can multitask!!! Thanks to her and Isabel I would still recommend it.

What’s not allowed

The cruise departing from Damrak Pier is restricted for guests under the age of 18 years.

Due to cruise restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Your guide dogs are welcome only on the 90-min cruise from Centraal Station.
