Note : We had asked Headout for advice about walking from Stoneyridge Vineyard to Casa Miro where were booked for lunch. This is the reply "Stonyridge → Casita Miro Your plan here sounds excellent. Spending about an hour at Stonyridge and then walking to Casita Miro is very common and works well. The walk is scenic, relatively short, and well-trodden by visitors, so it’s a great way to enjoy the area before your 1:00 PM lunch reservation. As it turned out we were unable to walk there in the time we enquired about as it was too far and very hilly and you can no longer walk directly there as it is private land. We instead got a taxi to come for us.

This was the perfect last minute tour. Great value for money and super flexible. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the different guides on the buses, they had a great sense of humour and some good recommendations. We only stopped at three wineries as we took our time and enjoyed each place.

This was so worth the money, we had a fantastic day. The sights were amazing and the drivers and hosts were entertaining and knowledgeable. I will be recommending thus to others and will do it again next time I have the opportunity.

Spending only one full day in Auckland and not being city folk a boat trip and vineyard tour on Waiheke Island seemed the obvious choice. Having purchased our combine ferry and Western tour bus option we began our trip. Opting for a walk up crossing worked well, ferry times were convenient and hop on hop off busses aevery 20 minutes with the addeed benefit of chatty and very entertaining guides. We opted to do a few walks between bus rides and even the imminent breakdown of our bus and timely transfer hampered the guides telling of a very funny story concerning the evil Khea!!! Great guiding under duress. You deserve a medal..
