Awesome trip around Manhattan. Got to see everything on my list of things to visit. Bus stops were located in the best spots to get off and see the sights before jumping back in. Our ticket included a ferry ride out to see the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building observatory. Great price for the sights and transportation included. We got the 48 hour ticket so we could see the ones we didn't get a chance to see on Day 1.

It was so nice to be able to see the city from the bus and then figure out where we wanted to go. The weather was great mostly and we really enjoyed riding the top. With the visit to the Empire State Building and boat ride to the Statue of Liberty being the icing on the cake.

The Big Bus blue line did not run regularly on either day of our voucher. I expected that the bus would run on schedule, that was the assurance when I purchased the tickets. There was no express line operating at the Empire State Building. The audio on the big bus never worked, and we were on 6 different buses.

The credit did not show up in my app/wallet. I had no brochure to tell me exactly what streets the bus stops were on so I wandered around world trade center for 20 minutes. I could not get hold of a real person at Headout via my cell phone. Once I got on the bus, it was fine. I was sad to see that it only runs till 5. That was my error not reading the ticket correctly. I saw another bus run past 6:00pm. Lesson learned.

Additional Information

The hop-on hop-off tour does not operate on Nov 24 (Thanksgiving) and Dec 31 (New Year’s Eve). Occasionally, severe weather or special events might affect service.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the cruise departure time as the seats are first-come, first-serve.

All boats feature an onboard café and full bar, restrooms, outdoor deck space, air conditioning and indoor seating with large windows.

Show your valid Big Bus ticket to avail the free ice cream at the Harry Potter Store.

Children aged 2 years and under travel for free. All children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult.
