CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5A wonderful experience. Even though it was July 25, the times we chose for our visits allowed us to explore at our own pace without having to wait in line. At the Belém Tower, the 10:00 a.m. entry time was perfect, and the light was fabulous for admiring the views from above. The climb up the tower isn’t too strenuous because it’s divided into several sections at each landing. For the Jerónimos Monastery, we had booked a 1:30 p.m. slot, but we managed to get in at 1:00 p.m., so everything went perfectly. The monastery’s architecture is beautiful, and the atmosphere is truly enchanting. Before heading back to Lisbon on the 15E tram (which is very convenient), a stop for some pasteis de nata is a must!BBoumadiane H
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5There were two lines at the site—one for the cathedral and one for the monastery—but unfortunately there were no signs. I stood in the wrong line for a long time, but luckily I went to ask for directions, and that’s when I was told I needed to switch to the other line—which meant we ended up waiting a lot longer. That’s the only issue that needs to be fixed. Admission to the cathedral is free, while there’s an admission fee for the monastery, but there were no signs indicating which line was for which.YYves D
FamilyVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5A beautiful place to explore. To our surprise, there was no line. (We entered at 2:30 p.m.) We had plenty of time to tour the site (the monastery and church) at our own pace.NNathalie G
FamilyVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5Great atmosphere aboard the Hippotrip and a pleasant cruise on the Tagus River Beautiful view of the Belém Tower Interesting information provided on board by a funny and energetic guideRRocio V
FamilyVerified booking5 days ago5/5It was super entertaining, the comments from the guide were perfectly timed and light enough for the children not to get bored. The constant swapping from Portuguese to English gave you time to both listen and enjoy the views. If you don't know Lisbon it's a very good first approach, you can then explore the city afterwards and it will feel a bit more familiar. The views from the river are amazing. The guide and driver were super fun and friendly. Definitely recommend.
