    It was simple and straightforward

Went last week with my partner and honestly, we had one of those days where it just all clicks. Weather was chilly but dry, so the crowds were wayyy lighter than I expected (big win!). Colossos is every bit as wild as folks say—screamed my lungs out, then couldn’t stop laughing. Food was a bit pricey, but I mean, that’s kinda normal at parks? Toilets super clean (seriously, noticed this everywhere). Staff seemed in a good mood, even when a kid spilled popcorn all over the ride platform, they just swept it up and joked with him. We skipped the Demonengruft cause the line was nuts, but everything else was manageable. If you get a chance, go on a weekday!

Early March visit—so some rides weren’t running (maintenance I guess) but didn’t bother us really. TONS of Halloween leftover decorations? Kinda weird, but also fun. We came as friends (group of 4), and actually spent more time than planned just wandering the themed zones. Tbh, food at the burger place was pretty average and kinda $$$. Still, the rollercoasters were the REAL star. Lines for the biggies like Flug der Daemonen got up to 50ish mins at peak, but later in the afternoon it was almost a walk-on. Would go again, but maybe pack sandwiches next time.

Family day out (2 adults, 2 kids, ages 7+10) and honestly, we all had a BLAST. Kids are still talking about Scream tower, which I was too chicken to try (no regrets). The park is really clean and staff were super patient with my youngest who kept asking a million questions. Not too crowded, only one ride was shut (Bobbahn I think?). Food expensive, but our sandwiches survived in the backpack just fine. If you’re on the fence—just go for it.
