your experience

Nestled in the heart of the Yarra Valley is the Healesville Sanctuary, a world-famous sanctuary to see Australian wildlife in their natural habitat. Reconnect with nature, from creek to canopy, as you stroll through 70 acres of bushland haven! This sanctuary also plays a vital role in saving endangered animals in Australia. Enjoy close up encounters with adorable native animals like koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, platypi, dingoes, and birds. Visit the Australian Wildlife Health Center as well, a working veterinary hospital that treats orphaned, injured, and ill wildlife. Meet the sleepy koalas, say g’day to a kangaroo, and wave at the shy little echidnas - all, in a fun and safe manner! P.S.: Young dino fans will enjoy visiting the Lost Sanctuary, home to giant animatronic dinosaurs and megafauna.
