  • Following a thorough safety briefing and instruction, select one of the meticulously restored vintage Vespas and begin your journey. After ensuring that everyone is wearing helmets, the tour leader will go through some key safety considerations. This excursion is the only vintage Vespa trip that leaves Florence, and the tour is unique as it uses the only surviving example of an automated classic Vespa model.

The tour guide will take you (at first, slowly) into the openness of the hills, via a river and a roadway lined with trees, until you reach a vantage point that is well-known. Get a good look at the breathtaking scenery from this vantage point. Put on your cultural hat and pay a visit to one of the area's oldest churches. Don’t miss out on the photo-op here too!

The initial part of the voyage consisted of easy travel, but now that we've reached this point in the journey, it's time to take the path less traveled. Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and travel down winding roads that take you to historic olive trees and vineyards, as well as narrow lanes between mansions and castles. Like a true Italian, explore the countryside of Tuscany.

After your exciting ride through Italy's lovely alleys and lanes, you will have worked up quite an appetite. Relax with a glass of Chianti and some of the finest prosciutto and cheese that Tuscany has to offer at a private property surrounded by spectacular views.
