I really liked this trip and the long way there and back was soo worth it. Meteora is very beautiful. The trip was great, only thing is that they pick you up very early and leave you at the train station 1 hour earlier, I would prefer sleep 30 minutes more. You start at 7:00 and come back to Athens at 23:15. We had to switch from train to bus because of the float and also the honey tasting was not possible for that. But anyway the guide was super nice and had even snack and water prepared for us so we can see the monasteries before they close. The lunch where she recommended us was delicious and our guide Eva even had some home made greek alcohol so we could try it.Definitely recommend it.

Jackpot in tour guides! We were lucky to be the only people in the tour and Kleo with Leonidas took awesome care of us. They offered us to adjust the tour to our liking but we decided to go with original plan - honey tasting and 2 monasteries. Kleo is very passionate about local culture and made us fall in love with Kalambaka and Meteora. We wished we could stay longer than just one day. She was very accomodating to our needs and made sure we had a great time. Overall 10 out of 10. We can't recommend it enough!

magical experience. we started in the morning with the train from Athens, our smiling driver and our guide were waiting for us at the kalambaka! they took us to see a total of 4 monasteries. perfect experience, the rocks have a very nice feeling, then they took us on a tour to see how honey is made, a traditional sweet from ancient times, I couldn't believe that we were so blessed, we will definitely do it again
