Very impressive experience, unique views. Monasteries are very special and interesting places even for non-religious people like me. Their history is rich and fascinating. Our guide was really smart and engaging. Due to problems on the train line, a substitution by bus was orgnaized. As expected, the trip to get there was the heaviest part. I recommend a multi-day tour if possible. Experience to be experienced!

I booked 3 tickets. One of the train tickets was in a different carriage from the other 2 even though there was a space next to the other 2 in that catlrriage. We booked together and wanted to travel together on this long journey.

Typically, this tour is conducted via train, but due to recent flooding in Greece, train services have been temporarily interrupted. Replacement buses have been arranged to maintain seamless travel until normal train operations resume. Rest assured, the tour's schedule and stops are unchanged, ensuring a delightful and uninterrupted experience.
French, Italian, or German-speaking guides are available upon request at an extra cost at the site.
All visitors must adhere to the dress code to enter the monasteries. Women are required to wear skirts that reach the knee or longer, while men must avoid sleeveless clothing and shorts above the knee.
Your train tickets are e-tickets (not necessary to print them) and will be sent by email after your tour is confirmed.
