We had an amazing experience visiting the Vatican, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Francesco. He was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history, art, and stories to life in a way that kept everyone engaged. Despite the enormous crowds and the extreme heat, he navigated our group of 20 people effortlessly, making sure no one was left behind and that everyone was as comfortable as possible throughout the tour. What we appreciated even more was how thoughtful he was with our two kids. He made an effort to include them, keep things fun, and help them enjoy the experience as much as the adults. Francesco was professional, organized, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting the Vatican. The tour is worth the money. It’s not cheap compared to the standard admission price, but it’s absolutely worth it. Our experience was incredibly positive from the very beginning—starting with the text message from Massimo asking if we were having trouble finding the meeting spot, all the way to our guide Antonella, who masterfully led us through the various rooms of the Vatican Museums, providing us with lots of details and interesting facts and answering all our questions. Thanks to these tickets, we skipped the entire line and always had priority access. Highly recommended.

This tour company was amazing to work with. They communicated early and kept us updated. It was so nice to skip the long lines all the way through security and on to our guide. Our tour coordinator kept us aprised of the process through every step and insured that no one got left behind in the crowds. It was so worth the little bit extra to be able to have a seamless experience. My only suggestion is to get the guided tour through to the Basillica. You'll save yourself a long walk back around the Vatican.

Antonio (who speaks Japanese) was fun and knowledgeable. He kept us moving efficiently and gave us good direction and lots of specific information about what we were seeing. Crowds not too bad (for this time of year). Would have been helpful to know we could bring water bottles in. Maybe it was in literature and I missed it. Our tour was moved an hour later, which tightened out day -but ut was communicated well and it all worked out.

I intially had a morning tour and was bumped to the afternoon for unknown reasons explained to me. It was a fortunate that I did not have anything planned. The tour was good although at times it was hard to hear, even with the headsets, as it was very busy. The guide was knowledgeable, offered interesting facts, and had a good sense of humor. Nicely done.

Our guide was one of kind entertainer, party guy/90s jukebox. 😂 Maybe little too much talk of history and standing long in the heat but most of the stories were engaging and it was great to be a character in the stories. Inside colosseum it would be a great idea to suggest if anybody want to visit the gift shop if somebody would like to buy souveniers.

Our guide, Alessandra, was great. The only downside was the overwhelming number of tourists inside the Vatican Museums and the chapel. They should limit the number of visitors. We did the guided tour of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Forum. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Romes Hostory. I liked that we went at our own speed. It didnt feel rushed. We were given plenty of time for photos also.

What's not allowed

Colosseum

For safety and security reasons, no large backpacks or pieces of luggage are allowed inside the Colosseum. No storage facility is available. You can, however, take a baby stroller into the Colosseum with you, should it be necessary.

Vatican Museums

Strict dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered for all guests.

Big bags and suitcases aren't allowed inside the attraction, but guests can make use of the lockers on site.

Since complete silence is to be observed within the walls of the Sistine Chapel according to the rules of the Vatican, the guides will provide you with information about the site outside the Chapel. Visitors are to maintain silence within the Chapel as well.

Photography and the use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the Sistine Chapel.

Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue, with the exception of guide dogs.

Vatican Museums

While the guided tour is not accessible by wheelchair, the Vatican Museums offer free wheelchair hire and free entry for visitors with mobility impairments (certified invalidity exceeding 74%) and a companion if required.
