We accidentally went to the wrong place and thank goodness because they were extremely rude (Touristation Vaticano). Once we got to our correct meeting place, we were greeted with great enthusiasm. In fact, they even called to check our ETA. Our tour guide, Alex, was fantastic and his English was very good. There is A LOT to see at these three places and he helped to navigate it with ease. We waited in line briefly but the crowds were not too bad. Alex was very knowledgeable and his jokes made the tour even more entertaining. For the money and the ease of mind, it was definitely worth it.

The guide was very knowledgeable and want to share that knowledge. Very nice and enjoyable to listen. I highly recommend recommend a tour guide instead of trying to see it on your own. The tour bypasses the long lines to get in. Our tour group was 20 people. I thought the price was well worth it if nothing else to not wait in long lines. Don't go on Wednesday's. Go there on Wednesday only if you want to go to mass and on Sunday for the blessing. Otherwise go on the other 5 days to really miss the lines.

A really great tour guide—thanks, Diego. We saw a lot; everything was beautifully explained with just the right atmosphere, so you stay focused from start to finish—not a dull moment in between. You can also ask questions, and they’ll be answered—it’s simply a wonderful tour that lasts at least two and a half hours. Great value for the money. The meeting location will be shared with you via email and WhatsApp. You’ll get your money’s worth.

IT WAS A GREAT TOUR. I RECOMMEND BOOKING IN ADVANCE SO YOU CAN CHOOSE THE TIME SLOT YOU PREFER, THEY OFFER TOURS FROM MORNING UNTIL AFTERNOON. IT WAS A TOUR IN SPANISH, OUR GUIDE WAS WONDERFUL, SO FRIENDLY, AND YOU CAN TELL HE KNOWS A LOT ABOUT ROMAN HISTORY. MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVED HOW HE TOLD US EACH STORY AT EVERY STOP. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Excellent tour, well worth paying extra to skip the queue. There wasn't even a queue for the loo, but I think that was more down to luck! Tour guide Daniella was very informative, and the whole experience was amazing. Photos do not do it justice, simply breathtaking, highly recommend.

The Vatican Museum houses an incredible collection. It is a wonderful place to visit. Our meeting point was close to the museum and our guide was very knowledgeable and amusing. The ear piece/head phone supplied by the museum did not fit well and transmission was patchy at times. The museum is very popular, so there are crowds, but our guide steered us through this very well.

The tour was supposed to include the Forum and the Colosseum. However, the EnRoma agency hired a guide who only stayed with us at the Forum and outside the Colosseum, even though the ticket included a guided tour inside the Colosseum, not just outside. In addition, they moved the tour up by 30 minutes. As for the guide, everything was perfect; the problem lies with the EnRoma company.
  • Experience two sides of Rome—ancient power and papal splendor—on this flexible, skip-the-line guided combo.

    Getting started

Head to your assigned meeting points at the Colosseum and Vatican, depending on your chosen dates. Arrive at least 15–20 minutes early with valid ID for a smooth check-in. Security checks are mandatory at both sites, so expect bag scans.

    What to expect

Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill

Walk in the footsteps of gladiators and emperors at the world’s most iconic ancient arena.

    • Enter the Colosseum with a guide who brings the amphitheater’s brutal history to life.

    • Continue to the Roman Forum—once the political and commercial heart of Rome.

    • Climb Palatine Hill, the mythological birthplace of Rome and home to imperial palaces.

    Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel

Discover one of the world’s greatest art collections inside the Vatican.

    • Stroll through halls like the Gallery of Maps and the opulent Raphael Rooms.

    • End at the Sistine Chapel—stand beneath Michelangelo’s breathtaking ceiling fresco.

  • What to bring

    • It's recommended to wear comfortable shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking.

    What's not allowed

    Colosseum

    • For safety and security reasons, no large backpacks or pieces of luggage are allowed inside the Colosseum. No storage facility is available. You can, however, take a baby stroller into the Colosseum with you, should it be necessary.

    Vatican Museums

    • Strict dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered for all guests.

    • Big bags and suitcases aren't allowed inside the attraction, but guests can make use of the lockers on site.

    • Since complete silence is to be observed within the walls of the Sistine Chapel according to the rules of the Vatican, the guides will provide you with information about the site outside the Chapel. Visitors are to maintain silence within the Chapel as well.

    • Photography and the use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the Sistine Chapel.

    • Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue, with the exception of guide dogs.

    Accessibility

    Colosseum

    • This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

    Vatican Museums

    • While the guided tour is not accessible by wheelchair, the Vatican Museums offer free wheelchair hire and free entry for visitors with mobility impairments (certified invalidity exceeding 74%) and a companion if required.

    Additional info

    • Bookings require accurate full names, so double-check at checkout to avoid issues. Bring a valid photo ID—it must match your ticket for entry!

    • Tours may be split across days or done on the same day based on your choice.

    • Book tours on different days or leave at least 3–4 hours between them. If visiting both on the same day, keep at least 1 hour between slots—commute takes 30–40 mins.

    • Each guided tour lasts 2–3 hours, so allow time for personal exploration too.

    • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.
    • Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
    • Please check your final voucher for the starting point details & specific instructions.
