Participants will need an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention to drive in Japan.

For Australian driver's license holders, you need to obtain an International Driving Permit from either AAA, NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RAC, RACT or AANT before you leave Australia. Any other permits issued by other unauthorized associations are not recognized in Japan.

Participants with licenses issued from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco would be required to obtain a Japanese Translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF).

Licenses issued from countries that are not under the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudia Arabia, etc.) will NOT be allowed to drive in Japan.

Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or original country license and official translation for some countries) and physical passport.

If you are in the U.S. military, you will be eligible to drive with either your SOFA (USFJ Form 4EJ) Permit or state-side license and Active Duty Uniformed Military ID.

Street Kart cannot be driven with licenses for mopeds or motorbikes.

Please arrive at the redemption point 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your experience to avoid any delays. Please bring your physical permits or necessary documents and physical passport with you.

Strict Dress Code: It is advised that all customers arrive with proper attire for safety purposes (no heels, no sandals, or long skirts).

Invalid permits and people who forget to bring necessary documents will not be allowed to join the activity and they will not be eligible for a refund.
