    What our guests say

Did the Katla Ice Cave thing with my brother and honestly, it was kind of surreal. Our guide, Tomas (I think?), was all jokes and glacier facts, which kept the ride from Vik lively. Super jeep felt like being on a low-key rollercoaster. Cave itself: SO BLUE. Like, not even filtered Instagram blue. It was a little chilly (obviously), so bring gloves unless u like numb hands. Got some coool shots (can’t believe I spelled that right lol). Would 100% go again if I could.

The super jeep ride to Katla was bumpy but FUN. My girlfriend and I didn’t really know what to expect, but the guide was super patient with all our questions. The cave’s interior was EPIC. Only thing, there were a bunch of other groups, so it got crowded at times, but we managed to sneak away for some quiet moments. Pro tip: wear waterproof shoes, my feet got soaked.

Went solo because my partner was sick (boo). Glad I still went! The Katla cave was insane—icy blue, sculpted like something out of a fantasy movie. The guide let us take our time for pics but did warn us not to touch the walls too much. It was FREEZING inside, and wind outside was no joke. Met some cool folks from Germany on the jeep ride, which made the whole thing less awkward. If you get a chance, just do it.

Honestly had higher hopes. The cave was beautiful, but I felt a bit rushed through the tour. Our guide was friendly though, and answered everyone’s questions. Bit too many people in the group, so felt crowded at times. The jeep ride was fun but LOUD. Still glad I saw it, just wish for a smaller group next time.

Took my parents (both in their 60s) and they LOVED it. The guide was super attentive, helped my mom with the helmet and all. The cave looked like something from another planet. Even my dad, who usually hates tours, couldn’t stop talking about the blue ice. FYI, the walk from the jeep to the cave is a bit slippery, so go slow if ur not used to hiking.
