The tickets I booked were as described, but as far as the thermal baths were concerned, I was a little disappointed. In reality, they are swimming pools at different temperatures, which is nice but nothing more.Daniel

Our visit to Gellért Thermal Baths was the ultimate way to relax in Budapest. The highlight for both of us was definitely the 40°C thermal pool! We loved the contrast of dipping into the cold plunge pool right after—it was exhilarating and left us feeling amazing. Having a private cabin made everything easy and stress-free, giving us space to change and store our things comfortably. Only one steam room was working, so was a little crowded at times. Also, the wave pool is going to be repaired, so wasn't working. But did not meter from how amazing the spa is. The facilities were beautifully kept, with a serene atmosphere throughout. While food and drink prices were a little steep, it didn’t take away from how special the overall experience was. Highly recommend booking ahead through Headout—smooth and reliable. A five-star spa day!Mario

The truth is that everything has been easy. From the purchase process, follow-up and communication. The thermal baths of Gellert we have fallen in love with super quiet and very complete. It transports you to the 19th century and you leave there refreshed. The boat is also a marvel, at 20.30 it is not yet night and it is the return when you start to see it all illuminated. The parliament is something magical, day and night.Beata

Very good but not great. The baths are considered the most luxurious, but I think you have to understand by the: historical. The place is beautiful but needs major renovation. If you've forgotten your equipment, it's possible to buy it all on site. The cabins are very practical for leaving personal belongings. The pools are top-notch, especially the 40-degree pool. Beware, this is a mixed area. The outdoor pool was crowded. Good experience, but not exceptional. I'd recommend it!Strahinja

Overall a very good experience and I plan to visit again when going to Budapest. Pool and thermal baths were exquisite, staff was nice and friendly. Weather was nice on Monday so we got to enjoy the outside caffe part of the space as well. Keep up the good work!
Plan a spa day at the prestigious Gellert Thermal Baths, one of the most prestigious spas in Budapest and the rest of Europe since 1918. Often referred to as the ‘Palace of Baths’, for centuries these thermal waters were used for relaxation and treatment purposes. Soak up the exquisite art-nouveau architecture that is made up of turquoise and marine-green Zsolnay mosaics and ceramics, neo-classical cherub statues, and botanical friezes.
With a number of different pools including thermal pools, swimming pools, and an outdoor thermal bath – Gellert is truly a place to indulge all your senses. Many of the pools have underwater jets for aqua massage therapy and are filled with natural spring water. Check out the different massages available – many are quick and refreshing – and spend some time in the sauna.
