Everything well organized, when we arrived at the meeting point we found the assistant ready to receive us a very kind way ( she speaks only English ) but she is joined by a colleague who speaks Italian, so very professional and kind. The visit is really beautiful a palace of a thousand and one nights, after the routine checks ( airport type ) we were given the audio guide in Italian where the route and history of the palace is explained and described. It is really worth it to visit this historic palace. There is also a store inside where you can buy palace gadgets and souvenirs of the city.

We purchased the thermal bath/boat package. I will start by saying that both experiences are worth having in a wonderful city like Budapest. The thermal baths are a relaxing oasis in which to unwind (I even fell asleep a bit in the pools); the boat ride is also a beautiful experience. The only negative note is the control of the staff inside the boat itself. If there are seats you sit down or at any rate, if you want to be outside in the cooler, you make sure not to block the view of those who have decided to be inside. Either way, definitely do both experiences.

A magnificent place! Even if these thermal baths are very old and perhaps no longer correspond to today's standards for fussy people, they remain a treasure for immersing yourself in the Art Nouveau atmosphere of their creation. Enjoy the mosaics, the blue earthenware, the hot and cold baths, the hammam, the sauna...and finish off with a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool, with its trompe-l'oeil in faux Baroque, before heading back to the City :)
    • Skip the lines at Gellert Bath and explore the different assortment of pools such as a wave pool, outdoor-indoor pools, and an effervescent bath.

    • Enjoy locker or private cabin access at the ‘Palace of Baths,’ and admire the art-nouveau architecture made from turquoise Zsolnay mosaics and ceramics.

    • Skip the line and step inside the iconic Hungarian Parliament as you learn about its history and culture with a multilingual guide.

    • Explore the interior of the Hungarian Parliament Building built in the Gothic Revival style with a symmetrical façade and a central dome.

    • Fun Fact: There is a red carpet that runs throughout the Hungarian Parliament building which is nearly 3 km long!

The tickets I booked were as described, but as far as the thermal baths were concerned, I was a little disappointed. In reality, they are swimming pools at different temperatures, which is nice but nothing more.

Our visit to Gellért Thermal Baths was the ultimate way to relax in Budapest. The highlight for both of us was definitely the 40°C thermal pool! We loved the contrast of dipping into the cold plunge pool right after—it was exhilarating and left us feeling amazing. Having a private cabin made everything easy and stress-free, giving us space to change and store our things comfortably. Only one steam room was working, so was a little crowded at times. Also, the wave pool is going to be repaired, so wasn't working. But did not meter from how amazing the spa is. The facilities were beautifully kept, with a serene atmosphere throughout. While food and drink prices were a little steep, it didn’t take away from how special the overall experience was. Highly recommend booking ahead through Headout—smooth and reliable. A five-star spa day!

The tour, although it is only for the 4th floor, is very nice and gives us some history of the town and its main building. We had a hard time finding the guide but finally managed. You don't have to enter the lobby where you get tickets to enter the museum and palace but outside the palace itself, in the square just outside the revolving door on the city side, not the Danube side. Courteous Manuel and colleague to call us by phone. Eventually visit done!

Good organization, we quickly went through the paperwork to enter. With the audio guide in Italian we were able to follow the visit carefully. A good experience to recommend.

The truth is that everything has been easy. From the purchase process, follow-up and communication. The thermal baths of Gellert we have fallen in love with super quiet and very complete. It transports you to the 19th century and you leave there refreshed. The boat is also a marvel, at 20.30 it is not yet night and it is the return when you start to see it all illuminated. The parliament is something magical, day and night.
  • Experience two of Budapest's best attractions, the rejuvenating Gellert Bath and a audio-guided tour of the Hungarian Parliament, with this combo ticket!

    Gellert Bath

Often referred to as the ‘Palace of Baths’, for centuries these thermal waters were used for relaxation and treatment purposes. Soak up the exquisite art-nouveau architecture that is made up of turquoise and marine-green Zsolnay mosaics and ceramics, neo-classical cherub statues, and botanical friezes. With a number of different pools including thermal pools, swimming pools, and an outdoor thermal bath – Gellert is truly a place to indulge all your senses. Check out the different massages available – many are quick and refreshing – and spend some time in the sauna.
