Windsor Castle was always on my bucket list. It was everything and more. I loved the ambience, the art and tapestries. The China on display. The Order of the Garter room left me speechless, the history in that room was amazing. I enjoyed seeing Queen Mary's dolls house. My other major highlight has to be St. George's Chapel. Steeped in history. Visiting the tomb for Queen Elizabeth 11 along with Prince Philip and her parents was emotional. Visiting the tombs of all the other Royalty was an honour. Walking down the aisle where so many weddings took place was very special. The security staff and stewards made us feel so welcome. I will treasure my visit for ever.

It was beyond my dreams. Absolutely stunning. No Wonder Queen Elizabeth loved it, it's so beautiful. Also to be right in the heart of the town makes it extra special. We met an ex electrician who used to work at the castle and his eyrs lit up talking about his job. He often met Her Majesty when she was out riding or just walking around and she never failed to wish him good day. Walking around especially in the quad and in the Chapel involved in all events I have seen made me even more proud to be British. What a truly wonderful "memorial" to our history. A fabulous day, thank you to all involved in keeping the castle safe 🤗

The tour of the castle was wonderful, but the credit for that goes to the castle’s management. As for the round-trip transportation, I wrote several times asking for more information but never received a reply. Luckily, I managed to figure it out on my own once I arrived at Paddington Station. Next time, if there ever is one, I think I’ll go through a different provider. Best regards
