CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago4/5We visited the zoo on a beautifully sunny day and we saw a great variety of animals around the park - some of which we had never seen before, like the Komodo Dragon! The enclosures were well thought out, more notibly the African Safari. We would recommend visiting earlier in the day if possible as many of the animals seemed to be more sleepy later on in the day! There is also a lovely park nearby to the zoo which is full of ducks, birds, and scenic views, and with a lake you can row a boat around!GGaia S
CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5A truly wonderful and interesting experience! The zoo and aquarium have plenty of animals to see and discover, with a pleasant and engaging route. A perfect activity to spend a few hours doing something different, suitable for both adults and children. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and animals!LLiliane G
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5A small, manageable zoo with lots of little surprises. Make sure you've seen everything!! Very family-friendly. The glass panels cause minor annoyances, especially when they aren't clean, because taking photos is very difficult then.JJairo G
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago4/5The aquarium is truly worth visiting. From the start to the end of the tour, it's designed so you can enjoy hundreds of species, to the point where along the way you feel like you're part of AVATAR. Without a doubt, the most amazing part is walking through the tunnel, which lets you see sharks, each one bigger than the last, swimming right above you.SShaun J

Located in the heart of the city at Ciutadella Park, a visit to the Barcelona Zoo is ideal for a family day out. It hosts over 400 species of mammals, reptiles and birds, including some that are rare and endangered. The Zoo also hosts school trips for students across all ages in the hopes of better educating people about the importance of rescuing and protecting endangered species and biodiversity in general.
The Zoo has been divided in 11 distinct spaces, each housing certain related species. The Land of Dragons, for instance is dedicated to a set of animals native to Asia Pacific, especially the Komodo dragons that it is named after. At the Terrarium, see one of the most varied collections of amphibians and reptiles in all of Europe including iguanas, poison dart frogs, boa constrictors or pythons!
The primate enclosure was inaugurated in 2006 and is dedicated solely to gorillas, the primates that are closest in nature and biology to human beings. There’s also Aquarama, the zoo's colony of sea lions. The large circular tank of water that houses the sea lions is three stories high and holds two and a half million litres of water. The first floor of Aquarama is also home to a number of species native to the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts.
