Well-organized and led by a highly knowledgeable guide who also speaks Italian. I recommend wearing hiking shoes because you’ll be doing a lot of walking, climbing stairs, and crossing a couple of steep bridges. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful day! Our guide was Sissi—a delightful, friendly, kind, and helpful person. Sissi gave us so many explanations. Even though it was a long day—11 hours—it was so well organized, with two rest stops (on the way there and back), that we really enjoyed our visit to Meteora. What to bring

Footwear: Wear supportive, closed-toe shoes with a solid grip for uneven paths and steps.

Water and snacks: Carry a refillable water bottle and a light snack, especially from June to August.

Dress code: Dress modestly. Men must wear long pants; women must cover shoulders and wear skirts below the knee.

Wheelchair access: Meteora's terrain is not suitable for wheelchairs, with stairs and sloped paths at every monastery.

Easier access option: If you have limited mobility, consider St. Stephen’s Monastery, which has a paved path and fewer stairs.
