We did a complete round trip hop on hop off(15 stops). About one hour. There was a stop very close to our hotel. On the second time around we planned our stops based on the time we had to sightsee. The drivers were all helpful. Our acropolis tour started before the HoHo started for the day. We enjoyed the Acropolis and the museum was very interesting. Glad we had purchased the tickets all in advance.

Athens is okay for now, but Piraeus is a commercial tour for cruise ship passengers (involving a bus transfer, waiting more than half an hour, etc.).

I recommend it because it has three different routes that let you explore Athens thoroughly, and all the explanations are in your own language. As for the schedule, it’s flexible and allows you to get off to explore a specific place and then return at your leisure. A 10 out of 10 for tourists.
