Unfortunately, we chose an extremely chaotic holiday, and the museum was almost unbearable. Our guide, Luigia, was kind, understanding, and helpful! She spent a lot of time with us and paid us a great deal of attention. Concerns: too many people; the works on display were exposed to too many risks and kept in environments that were too humid and poorly ventilated for their preservation.

Loved skipping the queue, our guide seemed to love her job, was very informed & was good at keeping us together. We were surprised that the tour was shorter than expected, although I'm aware one can only absorb so much, but thought the descriptions of the images in the dome could have had more said about its stories.

Large bags and backpacks are not allowed at both sites.

Please refrain from flash photography at Uffizi.

Sleeveless tops, shorts above the knee, and revealing clothing are not permitted at Florence Duomo.

Accessibility

The Uffizi Gallery is wheelchair accessible.

While the ground floor of Florence Duomo is accessible to wheelchair users, Brunelleschi's Dome climb involves a significant number of stairs and has no elevator access.

Security checks are mandatory at both attractions.

Entry times for the two guided tours may differ.

Your guide does not accompany you on your Dome climb experience. Please note that the climb requires an ascent of 463 steps.
