I started watching Dowtown Abbey a few weeks ago and I'm becoming more and more of a fan. Even though I was spoiled, I loved visiting the castle. On the other hand, I thought we'd be able to visit the offering university as indicated in the description. Perhaps you could say that there can be a tour if the doors are open. I really thought I was going to be able to get in. Our guide told us on the day a few minutes before we arrived. Great guide, by the way: Andrew, very nice and funny.

Ticketing was simple, the tour was comprehensive and fantastic! We loved our driver and our tour guide! I forgot her name... but she was a bombshell bomb with a great sense of humour and an absolute expert on all things downtown Abbey! And I forgot our driver's name, but he is Romanian and that I do remember because we are Bulgarian!

Visit the church, Matthew Crawley's mother's house, the hospital, and the homes of present residents, which were changed into the Post office and numerous bars.
