The guide only spoke during the bus ride to site. It wasnt clear when I purchased the tour that it did not include the entry to the Temple. The guide did not guide us through the Temple and didnt speak much about it on the ride there. The bus only had single seats available when my husband and I boarded but there were 2 seats behind the driver and 2 seats behind the guide that they wouldnt let us use so we had to Sit separately.

At Cape Sounion, you’ll explore the cliffside viewpoint surrounding the Temple of Poseidon—one of the most striking landmarks of ancient Greece. While entry to the temple is not included, the grounds offer unobstructed views of its Doric columns, the Aegean Sea, and the very cliff where Lord Byron carved his name. Insightful commentary from your guide adds depth to the myths, maritime history, and architectural significance of this sacred cape.
