The canal CruiseBay was a great way to see Amsterdam that we wouldn't have gotten walking around on foot. The audio guide in English did an excellent job in explaining the history of the canals and the development of Amsterdam through the last few hundred years. It was the highlight for our teenagers during our there days in Amsterdam.

Wonderful experience and awesome scenes. Cruise itself along with reception team and crew were amazing. Overall mesmerizing experience on this cruise

The tour had a fair price for such an accessible and interesting exeperience. The staff were really nice and welcoming, and the boat and the visited areas beautiful. The only downside was that the toilet had no running water on the tap, which wasn't indicated.

Great way to see Amsterdam and get an idea of the history of the city. The section outside the canals and onto the Amstel really highlights the scale of the city. Definitely worth checking out when you're there.

The boat was nice and the captain skilled. But it didn't go for 75 minutes as advertised, which was the reason I booked to have a longer cruise. Also the audio guide is recorded so you cannot ask anyone questions about extra history etc you may want to know. But the staff are very friendly

My Family and I had a lot of fun and memories were made.It's a fun Experince for Young and old.would really recommend and the Cruiser was really nice

What’s not allowed

Outside food and drinks are not allowed onboard.

Due to cruise restrictions, your pets are not allowed on board.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair accessible boats only depart from the dock opposite Hard Rock Cafe at the 10:30am, 12pm, 2pm, and 3:30pm time slots.

Your guide dogs are welcome on the cruise.

Additional information

Children up to and including 4 years old may board for free. Children between the ages of 5 and 11 years can board with discounted tickets. Children older than 11 pay the same price as adults.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Most boats have a roof that closes fully and have central heating on board. So even if it is cold outside, you will be warm inside the boat. The boats mostly sail within the city centre, where the water stays very calm, so they can sail in almost any weather.

If a cruise cannot take place due to extreme weather circumstances, the company will contact you to reschedule your ticket to another date.
