A Night at Wicked
Some experiences you plan for weeks, and still they manage to surprise you. Seeing Wicked on Broadway was one of them.
On our last evening in New York, the four of us walked the few blocks from our hotel through the Theater District, past the lights and the crowds, to the Gershwin Theatre. There's a particular energy on those streets before a show: people dressed up, families taking photos under the marquee, the sense that something special is about to happen.
From the moment the lights went down, we were somewhere else entirely. The staging, the costumes and the sheer scale of the production were remarkable, but what stayed with me most was the story itself. Behind the green skin and the flying monkeys, Wicked is about friendship, about how easily people are judged by appearances, and about the courage it takes to stand by what you believe when everyone else is pointing the other way.
When the first act closed with "Defying Gravity," the whole theatre seemed to hold its breath. It's one of those moments that you feel as much as you hear.
Sharing it with my family made it even better. Watching our daughter completely absorbed in the story, and seeing that even our son, at nineteen, was won over, turned a great show into a memory we'll keep for a long time.
It was the perfect way to close our week in New York.

Der Besuch der Freiheitsstatue in New York war ein wunderschönes und unvergessliches Erlebnis! 🇺🇸 Die beeindruckende Statue ist ein echtes Wahrzeichen Amerikas und persönlich noch viel faszinierender, als man es sich vorher vorstellen kann. Besonders begeistert haben mich die atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Skyline von Manhattan, die entspannte Bootsfahrt und die einzigartige Atmosphäre vor Ort. Die gesamte Besichtigung war hervorragend und definitiv ein Höhepunkt meiner New-York-Reise. Wer New York besucht, sollte sich diese historische Sehenswürdigkeit auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Erlebnis, das noch lange in Erinnerung bleibt!

Está experiencia fue un top comenzando por la aplicación q ayuda un montón ya q te mantiene al tanto con mensajes de texto respecto a día de tu reserva y la hora así q si estás distraído visitando otros lugares la aplicación te recuerda cuando se está acercando la hora de tu recorrido fue súper fácil escanear los boletos, el servicio en las facilidades super rápido y los empleados muy amables y dispuestos fue una experiencia q no olvidaré y recalcó el servicio A+ nos hicieron sentir muy acogidos. El museo es enorme y los empleados se encargaron de q no perdieramos ni un solo detalle super recomendado.

Un servicio súper rápido, el personal totalmente amable y dispuesto, estábamos perdidos y le preguntamos a alguien en la calle por dirección para nuestra sorpresa era empleada del lugar así q tomo su tiempo y nos llevó directamente a las puertas y no estaba en su horario laboral lo hizo en su tiempo libre, la vista aunq estaba nublado fue una experiencia muy bonita, pues la parte interactiva de luces antes de llegar a la plataforma es increible de bonito y divertido. Lo recomiendo 100 de 100

MJ the Musical was a fantastic experience\! The cast was outstanding, with incredible choreography, powerful vocals, and an energy that truly honored Michael Jackson’s legacy\. I expected to hear more of his iconic songs performed in full, but the show focuses on telling his story, weaving the music into moments of his life and career\. While I missed hearing complete songs, the production was engaging, emotional, and beautifully staged\. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it\!

Absolutely breathtaking!! So beautiful and definitely worth it! You get to go up the Hudson River and see the Brookland Bridge and all of Manhattan. Get to see the Statue of Liberty up close and get amazing views.
