Purchasing tickets online was a quick , easy and smooth experience and we got the day we wanted. Pricing was fair and no other hidden costs. We picked up our physical tickets at the ticket sales counter and proceeded straight on to the observational seating area. Every part of the experience was smooth, straightforward and very enjoyable. Loved the decor and cleanliness. Very spacious rooms. The property is well maintained and really enjoyed the fireplace. Appreciate all the nice games provided for our entertainment. Just want to mention that it would have been nice to have heating in the third bedroom. Thank you for sharing your lovely place. Will surely come back.

The crowd management wasn't the best given too many ppl were standing and taking flash photography and spoiling the view and the experience for others. While it's appreciated there is limited control that could be exercised some enforcement is required.

Accessibility

The park is wheelchair accessible, and most rides are accessible except the Scenic Railway. Various health and safety requirements do apply to wheelchair guests, so it’s always best to check with staff before your visit.

What's not allowed

Photographs and video recordings are not allowed when penguins are coming home, because the artificial light sources will stimulate the eyes of the penguins. The island implements light control at this time.

Penguins arrive at sunset each evening, with typical arrival times ranging from 8:30pm to 9pm in summer (Dec–Feb), 7pm to 8pm in autumn (Mar–May), 5:15pm to 6pm in winter (Jun–Aug), and 6:30pm to 8pm in spring (Sep–Nov). Arrive at least 1 hour beforehand to secure your seat and enjoy the visitor center before the parade begins.
