The experience was great. The ticket pickup location wasn't exactly where Google Maps directed us, but there were staff members there asking if we were with HeadOut, and they immediately gave us our printed tickets. After that, we just had to walk right through the entrance, skipping the lines. As for Pompeii, there’s nothing more to say—you have to see it for yourself. It’s incredible that it’s so well-preserved after all these years. We absolutely loved the visit.
    • Experience convenient one-way transfers between Naples Capodichino Airport Terminal and Naples Maritime Station or vice versa, on a modern, air-conditioned bus.

    • Stay connected with free onboard Wi-Fi and get to your destination in just 35 minutes. Enjoy ample space to store strollers and bring your pets along for a comfortable ride.

    • Traverse through time with tickets to Pompeii, the ancient Roman city perfectly preserved under volcanic ash, offering a unique glimpse into history.

    • A walk through Pompeii’s old cobbled streets will give you a glimpse into the rich displays of Vesuvian art, everyday ancient artifacts, and ruins that reveal a timeless connection to our modern world.

    • Fun fact: Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was lost in time until its rediscovery in 1748 and now attracts nearly 2.5 million visitors every year.

  • These tickets can't be cancelled or rescheduled.

Off to Pompeii! The entrance was clearly marked from the station. You don’t have to look for it. First, you need to stop by the tourist office with your admission ticket. You’ll find it across the street. They’ll print out your admission tickets, and with those, you can head to Pompeii. There are water fountains in Pompeii, but no places to eat or drink! So you’ll need to bring your own food and drinks. There are cafes and restaurants outside the gate. I didn’t find any restrooms either. Pretty strange, actually.

Buying tickets is easier than you think. Skip-the-line entry to Pompeii with a QR code. An unforgettable experience—you can see the hard work of the archaeologists and the care that went into restoring the structures and frescoes. The area with casts of human skeletons makes you forget yourself for a moment and reflect on the suffering of the thousands who died in Pompeii. I recommend it to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or nationality. I also recommend Headout’s services.

    - A uniquely well-preserved ancient city - Fascinating insights into the daily life of the Romans - Impressive streets, villas, frescoes, and an amphitheater - A UNESCO World Heritage Site of great historical value - Very hot in the summer and often crowded - The site is huge—plan on spending at least 4–6 hours there - Some paths are uneven, so sturdy shoes are recommended

It was a unique and unforgettable experience. We won’t hesitate to return, as there are still many places steeped in history that we don’t want to miss. The best part, without a doubt, was the friendly service from the staff, who helped us immerse ourselves in the world of Pompeii.

It was a wonderful visit to this magnificent site, without a single thought for the people who paid with their lives amid these rediscovered buildings, which reveal their way of life at the time. For us, it’s a valuable history lesson.
