A fantastic experience from start to finish. The tour of the various landmarks was very comprehensive and interesting, but without a doubt, the best part was our guide, Valentina. She made the entire tour very enjoyable and entertaining, keeping us engaged the whole time. It’s clear she has a deep knowledge of the subject and conveys it in a clear and passionate way, answering all our questions with great warmth. Thanks to her, we not only saw incredible places but truly understood their history and significance. Highly recommended. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Alex invited us to imagine and create our own picture of what life was like during the Roman Empire, and at the Colosseum in particular. That life was very different from how we live today, but the atmosphere was there, and to experience it all in just two hours is amazing. I highly recommend this. Book it and enjoy.

Last week

Our guide, Fabio, was very entertaining, telling us stories while we waited in the inevitable line to enter the Forum (guided tours only allow you to skip or shorten the line to enter the Colosseum, not the one for the Forum). Thanks to his clear explanations, we were able to understand a period of history (the Monarchy, the Republic, and the Empire in Ancient Rome) that we will never forget, and it also allowed us to truly appreciate the monuments of the Forum, which we had visited on a previous occasion (but without a guide) and had not been able to fully appreciate or understand. At the Colosseum, Fabio told us about the movies and their historical inaccuracies, and also recommended the best spots for taking photos. In short, a tour that could have been dense and tedious turned into a very well-researched immersion (Fabio accompanied his explanations with drawings of the site in its original state, or showed us the attire of the different types of gladiators, etc.) and was delivered with passion. A great guide for a great tour. Highly, highly recommended.

Thanks to the small group (6 people) and our wonderful and extremely friendly tour guide, the tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. With her extensive knowledge of Rome’s history, our tour guide managed to take us on a journey back to times long past. It almost felt as though we could see the gladiator fights right before our eyes. Her commentary was so interesting that time just flew by. We highly recommend this tour and would book it again in a heartbeat.
