We chose to book tickets for the entrance to the Colosseum and its arena, the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, in September 2025. The tour guide appeared exactly at the meeting time, exactly at the point written in the email to deliver the tickets to us. She was in a relatively mediocre mood, but she was quite explanatory and polite. Due to the several negative reviews, I was worried that we might not receive our prepaid tickets, which turned out not to be the case. We entered the Colosseum quite quickly without waiting in line. We also used the audio part of the tour, which we found useful, but not a lot. Overall, the communication with the organization was good and sufficient. I would choose it again.

Our tickets were scheduled for 10:30, but we arrived at 9:50. Due to the very crowded situation at the tour agency, the ticket handover and formalities were only finished around 10:05. As a result, we missed the media film and, by the time we got there, there were no seats available. The escort service itself was fine – the guide (a lady) gathered us together and led the group to the entrance of the Roman Forum. From that point, we were free to explore on our own. Our Colosseum entry time was set for 13:15, so we went there independently later. Overall, the experience was okay, but everything was extremely crowded and busy everywhere.

The experience itself was pleasant, the sites beautiful. What didn't go well was the fact that we were forced to visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill first and then the Colosseum. It said in the online reservation that we had entrance to the Colosseum at 1:30 p.m. and then we could visit the other two sites at our leisure, but instead the guide came with tickets and told us to visit the Forum and the Hill first because entrance to the Colosseum was at 3:30 p.m. I gave 4 stars because Rome is beautiful and the archaeological sites are spectacular, the reservation service NO

Your service made it possible to plan ahead and avoid some of the uncertainty with long queues, which is greatly appreciated. Although the queue was still long, the convenience of having tickets ready helped reduce some waiting stress. The experience itself was very overwhelming due to the sheer scale and historical depth of the sites, but the audio guide you provide added valuable context, making the visit more engaging despite the absence of a live guide. It might improve the visitor experience further if Headout could offer additional tips or support on how to best use the audio guide, including highlights to focus on in such expansive sites, or possibly suggest time slots when queues tend to be shorter. Overall, the ticketing service is solid and the audio media assisted in maximizing the experience, even if navigating these vast ruins feels a bit intense at times.

Excellent piece of history to visit. We went early (09:30) and the Forum was not overly busy which was great. We went to the coliseum portion for 11:00 and while the line moved quickly, it was incredibly busy within due to the limited amount of space. Our host was very pleasant and helpful getting us setup despite the instructions indicating he would have a white flag, he had a blue mat with a different logo, but it all worked out. Great day, great weather, great site. Would recommend, but go early if you can.

What I did love...? I was either expecting not to queue as I fact you are queuing at the tickets pick up area instead of queuing at the Colloseum ticket office. Not "hots" to guide of as indicated but someone explaining where to go (easy to see when you see the Coloseum surroundings) and finally an audio guide which is a app on your smart phone. Is that worth 50% more ? The answer is no..
