Avoid Starboard Canal Cruises. This cruise cost 25 Euro per person-WAY overpriced. It did not go through any part of old town, only the larger harbor. We had the worst possible guide , C, who didnt seem to know any history or monumentsor much else. What I learned: How many bicycles, cars and people fell into the canals each year. She did not know anything about the clock tower the Spanish gifted to Amsterdam. The captain, V., was able to give me a very good history of it, though. She was skilled at handling the navigation.

One hour on the canal. Great boat trip, the guide was great with lots of local information. We did not purchase the drink package, which was fine. The boat had plenty of room for everyone to sit. I would highly recommend.

Top guides. Was a great trip. Our guide Laurence and captain Twan guided us through the Amsterdam canals with lots of information and fun. The cheeses and wines were also top notch. Was a fantastic birthday present.

Even if Amsterdammer has a great tour with Sabrina. Sabrina and elio had on the tour. Sabrina was very funny. And shared a lot of knowledge. Great experience, even as an Amsterdammer.
