Tour was very informative! On time & the guide was awesome!
  • Wander through Westminster and hear stories of courage and strategy, then descend into Churchill’s secret War Rooms where history was made.

    Getting started

Find your English-speaking guide near Westminster Station, by Boadicea on her chariot. After grabbing your headset, your guide will sketch today’s journey, sprinkle in some stories, and set you off to wander streets that once buzzed with wartime tension.

    What to expect

Walk where politicians, soldiers, and everyday Londoners shaped history. Above ground, hear stories of courage, strategy, and resilience at landmarks that survived bombings. Below ground, descend into the Churchill War Rooms, preserved as if the Blitz never ended, where urgent calls, maps, and decisions once determined the fate of nations.

    Features

    • Big Ben & Houses of Parliament: Snap photos while imagining the roar of air raids outside and the Parliament chambers alive with urgent strategy.

    • Westminster Abbey: Picture wartime ceremonies and quiet moments of remembrance that kept hope alive during dark times.

    • 10 Downing Street: Stand in front of the prime minister’s residence and imagine Churchill pacing inside, plotting every move to save Britain.

    • Churchill War Rooms: Descend into the bunker where history breathed—the Cabinet Room, Map Room, and corridors frozen in time with furniture, maps, and messages from 1945.

    • Churchill Museum: Hear Churchill’s original broadcasts and see personal artifacts, giving life to his leadership, humor, and stubborn courage.

    • Transatlantic Telephone Room: Peek into the tiny room where secret calls to Roosevelt shaped wartime strategy, tucked away cleverly to avoid spies.

    • Memorials: Reflect at statues honoring Churchill and the Women of WWII, understanding the courage and sacrifices that kept London standing.
