You can visit the Royal Castle of Amboise at any point within the opening hours on the date that you select while booking (the last entry is an hour before the castle closes). The Amboise Castle is open every day of the year, except for on the 25th of December and the 1st of January. The opening hours are as follows:
- Aug: 9am to 7pm
- Sep and Oct: 9am to 6pm

It is about 2 hours and 15 minutes drive from the center of Paris to Amboise.
By Train:
It is a 2.5- to 3-hour journey to travel by train from Paris to the Royal Castle of Amboise. Please note that it is a 17-minute walk from the train station (Gare d’Amboise) to the castle.
