The experience went well, despite the fact that we didn't know we had to meet someone to get the actual tickets and access to the audio guide. We hadn't received the email 24 hours in advance for the audio guide. The person from the ticketing company on-site to give us our tickets was very kind and helped us get the required app and download the document. Photos are taken either inside the castle or of the outdoor view that the castle allows you to see from up high. It's magnificent!

First time we have used an audio guide & both myself & my wife were extremely surprised at how easy & comfortable the audio guide was to use & to follow the prompts. Booking went smoothly, and we got into Castel Sant'Angelo quickly. We had the audio guide through Dex, an app you need to download beforehand. The audio guide was well done and informative. The café is great! Fantastic view!

Enjoyed not only seeing Castel but all the history involved. My wife and our friend were truly amazed at all the iterations it had been . Views form the higher elevations were spectacular! Highly recommend. Two thumbs up👍👍

We had no wait time. Unfortunately, the audio guide was somehow not in the right order, so it was a bit hard to follow. The best part was the view looking down from the top onto the Ponte Sant'Angelo. Overall, I thought there would be more to see. We finished the visit relatively quickly.

With the exhibitions inside, it was a journey through different cultures, from a cannonball to a frescoed ceiling, from a towering Angel to a prison to atone for real or alleged guilt...
