GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago4/5The facility offers various types of packages, each with a specific entrance that may not be immediately obvious, but the staff are happy to provide directions. The outdoor area is the largest and most spacious, featuring three pools, and there are lounge chairs along the edges that are available to guests if you’re lucky enough to find them free. Inside, we found three areas with pools and saunas that were closed for maintenance. There is some moisture on the ceilings of a few rooms, but this is acceptable given the nature of the facility. Staff regularly come by with mops to remove any water residue on the floor. Since the space is very large, we had no trouble finding a spot in the various pools and saunas, which are ultimately quite similar to one another. The cruise, which departs at 8:30 PM to take advantage of both sunlight and the effect of the illuminated buildings after sunset, allows you to take photos with different atmospheres. The boat was spacious and well-organized; the open-air area on the upper deck is perhaps a bit small and doesn’t offer space for a large number of people. The audio guide is accessible via a phone app; it may not start automatically at the various points of interest even with GPS enabled, but the information provided is still comprehensive.MMartín M
GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5The Széchenyi Thermal Baths are absolutely amazing; the building is beautiful and features incredible historic architecture that will leave you speechless, especially the outdoor pools. Plus, the whole experience went smoothly thanks to Headout; we got our tickets through them and skipped the long line at the ticket office, which was a huge relief since we could head straight in to relax. Top-notch organization and a must-visit if you’re in BudapestCColleen B
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5We were visiting Budapest from the US and decided to try the thermal baths. So glad that we did! The 3 outdoor pools are great, and the thermal bath experience was amazing. Pools of different sizes and temperatures, saunas, and steam rooms. We had an afternoon appointment and could only stay for 3 hours. We could have easily spent twice that. It was a great experience!AAlessandro B
CoupleVerified bookingJun 20264/5The deal is a good one, the thermal pools are pleasant and not too crowded, though the prices for on-site services are a bit steep; as for the cruise, while it was pleasant in the evening with the city all lit up, I would have preferred to take it on an open-air boat or one with a retractable roof; otherwise, everyone has to stay on the right side of the boat, and it gets a bit crowded...
Pocket-friendly travel anyone? This 2-in-1 combo takes you across the city with an unlimited hop-on hop-off pass. Also, visit the Széchenyi Spa, the largest thermal bath complex in Budapest.
