From the start, it was a hassle-free experience. Used the QR for easy entry to the lockers, and then to the main outdoor bath. It was incredibly relaxing. I thought the inside baths, sauna, and cold plunges completed the experience until I realized there was another outdoor bath with more fountains and a separate area that contained a "lazy river". I plan on returning before the end of my vacation. It was that good.

Totally recommended! We spent 3 very pleasant and relaxing hours here. First in the outdoor pools—the warmest one was phenomenal, so soothing—and the indoor pools were magnificent too. Even though it was crowded, the complex is so large that you can really enjoy yourself. I would definitely visit again.

The day was beautiful, warm and sunny .Perfect for a dip in the hot springs .Entry and changing with lockers was very easy with the readout tickets .The place is old and very atmospheric but clean and relaxing .Overall a great day out .

The spa is wonderful, with its thermal waters, its saunas... and we did the cruise in the late afternoon/evening, which was great watching the sunset, although it felt way too short for us.

A truly wonderful experience at Budapest's Széchenyi Baths! The outdoor pools are spectacular, especially with the contrast between the warm water and the outside temperature. The facility is charming and offers several pools to relax in. Admission with Headout was smooth and hassle-free. The only downside: some areas are a bit crowded and the changing rooms could be managed better. Overall, an experience I definitely recommend to anyone visiting Budapest!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting Széchenyi Thermal Spa in Budapest! Booking our tickets through Headout was incredibly easy, quick, and convenient. As of August 1, 2025, entry to the bath is not permitted for anyone under the age of 14.

The last entry is allowed up to one hour before closing, and all pools and surrounding areas must be vacated 20 minutes before closing time.

Wearing slippers in the spa area is mandatory for all guests.

The light sauna and the volcano sauna are temporarily out of service due to technical issues.

Your hop-on hop-off ticket includes a free Danube River cruise, valid throughout your pass until 5pm; a small fee of 2,000 HUF applies for later departures.

The boat tour operates with a minimum of 10 passengers.

Pets are welcome on the buses, but only if kept in closed baskets, cages, or pet carriers.
