This Place is really Gorgeous!! We spent pretty much all day lazing around in all the baths and just had the best time. There was two outdoor thermal pools, some inside and plenty of suanas and steam rooms and freezing cold baths as well. Absolutely gorgeous architecture, feels like you're in a movie.

We booked a pass that included a locker, and we went there at 8 a.m. on a Thursday. We got in very quickly—there was no line. There are small changing rooms with large lockers to store your belongings. In the morning, we started with the indoor pools. Very few people in some of the pools—we were alone. There are lockers next to each pool to put your phone, towels, etc. There are many pools with different temperatures. Very pleasant. Around 10 a.m., we went to the outdoor pools... really nice... there were a few more people, but it was fine. There were plenty of lounge chairs... we stayed until noon. Great experience.

Se trata de un punto de fácil acceso tanto por metro como por carretera o incluso andando. Una vez llegas, todo está perfectamente indicado para entrar al recinto. Ningún impedimento un vez allí. Todas las cuestiones aparecen señalado de forma clara. Cabe destacar que gracias a hacer la compra online se evitan colas, ya que hay varias filas: fila con entrada recién comprada (algo más tedioso) y fila con entrada online (es ir en línea recta hasta la zona donde escaneas el código y entras, dando así con los vestuarios).

The Széchenyi Thermal Baths are absolutely amazing; the building is beautiful and features incredible historic architecture that will leave you speechless, especially the outdoor pools. Plus, the whole experience went smoothly thanks to Headout; we got our tickets through them and skipped the long line at the ticket office, which was a huge relief since we could head straight in to relax. The facility offers various types of packages, each with a specific entrance that may not be immediately obvious, but the staff are happy to provide directions. The outdoor area is the largest and most spacious, featuring three pools, and there are lounge chairs along the edges that are available to guests if you’re lucky enough to find them free. Inside, we found three areas with pools and saunas that were closed for maintenance. There is some moisture on the ceilings of a few rooms, but this is acceptable given the nature of the facility. Staff regularly come by with mops to remove any water residue on the floor. Since the space is very large, we had no trouble finding a spot in the various pools and saunas, which are ultimately quite similar to one another. The cruise, which departs at 8:30 PM to take advantage of both sunlight and the effect of the illuminated buildings after sunset, allows you to take photos with different atmospheres. The boat was spacious and well-organized; the open-air area on the upper deck is perhaps a bit small and doesn’t offer space for a large number of people. The audio guide is accessible via a phone app; it may not start automatically at the various points of interest even with GPS enabled, but the information provided is still comprehensive.

We were visiting Budapest from the US and decided to try the thermal baths. So glad that we did! The 3 outdoor pools are great, and the thermal bath experience was amazing. Pools of different sizes and temperatures, saunas, and steam rooms. We had an afternoon appointment and could only stay for 3 hours. We could have easily spent twice that. It was a great experience!

As of August 1, 2025, entry to the bath is not permitted for anyone under the age of 14.

The last entry is allowed up to one hour before closing, and all pools and surrounding areas must be vacated 20 minutes before closing time.

Wearing slippers in the spa area is mandatory for all guests.

The light sauna and the volcano sauna are temporarily out of service due to technical issues.
