The ticketing experience was easy and smooth, although I did have to confirm how to get the tickets, as they were not initially showing in the app. This was answered immediately however, by headout, and I then had access to the tickets, so felt confident straight away The experience was very good, with a very knowledgeable guide for the walk about before entering Buckingham Palace. The Palace itself was excellent, and the portable audio system worked very well. The signage to follow the tour route was very clear and informative. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable event. I liked that we could go through the rooms at our own pace. The only complaint is that my little kids needed to use the toilet and the staff would not let them, because it just closed. We had to walk really far to find other restrooms with the kids complaining. Children don't always give a warning, so that was not fun.

I enjoyed the visit very much. Well organized, with the audio guide in Italian. Plus a paper guide is given as a gift and this was very much appreciated by me and my family. I am very satisfied with the service and the clear instructions I received. Definitely recommend the visit. Deserves.

An enhanced royal experience
Upgrade your tickets for a small-group tour of the Changing of the Guards ceremony or go on a walking tour of Westminster. Accordinging to the ticket you choose, your experience starts with a walking tour which begins near Buckingham Palace itself, with a multilingual audioguide or where you will be met by your English-speaking guide who will help you get acquainted with the Royal neighborhood. Make your way past St. James Palace and follow this up with a lovely stroll through St James Park, which once held the Royal Zoo. You can then walk up the Mall, which resembles a red carpet leading up to the palace, and admire Clarence House. With the Changing of the Guards ticket, you can either watch the Foot Guards or the Horse Guards replace the Old Guards in a 45-min ceremonious event.

The Changing of the Foot Guards ceremony at Buckingham Palace takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday (subject to availability). On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, there is no Foot Guards ceremony—instead, you'll explore Westminster on a guided walking tour. The Horse Guards may be on parade, but it's not always guaranteed.
