The story

Amid England’s Civil War, the Puritan maiden Elvira is promised to Riccardo but loves the Royalist Arturo. When political loyalties tear them apart, her fragile joy collapses into delirium. As battle lines blur between sanity and obsession, Bellini’s music traces her descent with heartbreaking beauty, until fate delivers an unexpected twist.
