The story

Set during the French Revolution, Andrea Chénier follows the tragic love story of the poet Andrea Chénier and the aristocratic Maddalena di Coigny. Caught in the upheaval of the era, their love faces insurmountable challenges. As revolutionaries close in, their fate becomes entwined with the political turmoil of the time. Will their love survive the guillotine's shadow?
