Our tour was excellent. We were met at the castle by a tour guide who tried to take us into the castle earlier. We then had an initial chat with her. As we were a few minutes early, we warmed up in the office and talked to the friendly staff. This is also where we got our first information about the historical background from our tour guide. She spoke very good English and also a few words of German, which made for some fun. There were other nationalities in our group, including French people with children, for whom the tour guide translated a few things into French! :-). The tour guide really knew her job. She was able to tell us so much about the castle and the Transylvanian history. We were really thrilled.
