Overall, everything was great, but I have to mention that I arrived at the meeting point five minutes late because I got lost in the gardens, and they were very, very kind to wait for us. I’d also like to highlight the guide’s extensive knowledge, especially regarding mythology.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Borghese Gallery with Agnes (Agnese). She was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about both the collection and the history surrounding it. Rather than presenting isolated facts, she wove the artworks into a coherent historical narrative that gave us a much deeper appreciation of the collection as a whole. She was friendly, engaging, and obviously well qualified to guide the tour. We especially appreciated that she generously gave us an extra fifteen minutes to discuss Raphael, which was a wonderful way to conclude an already excellent experience.

Picking up the ticket from the Head Out representative was easy; she showed me how to use the Galleria Borghese app. The Galleria is incredible—it’s definitely worth a visit. Seeing the works by Bernini and Caravaggio, in particular, is a must! However, I should mention that I had an issue with the ticket purchase: I bought a guided tour ticket for a specific time slot, and Headout contacted me two days prior to inform me that this option was no longer available and offered other time slots on the same day, but without a guide. This caused some inconvenience because I was with a group of friends who were scheduled for the same time slot.
