The Borghèse Gallery is a fantastic landmark for art lovers, it is fully worthing it. I was very disappointed with the information provided ahead about the expectations in what concerns the logistical aspects of the visit. We found out the hard way from very unfriendly personnel of the gallery that the tour was private in the sense that it was managed by a private operator, therefore we should look "outside somewhere" for a guide wearing some color. In a nutshell, finding the guide of the tour was not easy at all given that several private operator was providing tours in the gallery. I wish the I formation ahead was more specific about what to expect. The guide herself (Emily) offered us instead an exquisit and competent presentation.

Sal made the experience so special. It is one thing to have a guide who loves the city and attraction - it is a whole additional aspect when the guide is also an art lover. 'Come closer!' Sal wants to make sure you walk away appreciating the art and artist while also learning some fun history. Best art history tour!

The guide spoke clearly and calmly. He gave space to ask questions. His exposé was hfdz about Bernini and Carravagio which is also the core of the collection. This helps you see the forest for the trees and the essence of the museum stays with you better. Great tour. Thanks.

I enjoyed so much this guided life, it is a total immersion in the microcosm of Cardinal Scipione Borghese and the vesicular and papal curia of the period, thanks to the guide and his philological and cultural preparation his account supported by documented historical literary, epigraphical and archival sources allows us to grasp the trait d'uon between the gallery and the Vatican City State, some rooms of the villa have a view right on the dome of St. Peter's; the calm and tranquility of the itinerary chosen by the guide allows visitors to dwell on each masterpiece in the Gallery and catch a detail related to the painting technique, the color used or the type of marble🤩😍🥰super Top
