The information provided by the tour guide Hussain was great although information regarding the pick up point was very unhelpful and there was no one to ask. Why not just say in front of the ticket office opposite the main entrance to the mosque

Our guide spoke good, very clear English and guided us around and into the Blue Mosque as relaxedly as possible given the many visitors. He provided a good amount of information about the mosque and Islam. Definitely recommended!

Experience this place of worship with confidence as you step away from the city, making space for reflection and for noticing what surrounds you.

Your ticket includes entry, a licensed English-speaking guide who shares architectural and historical insight, scarf borrowing support, and a small group setting.

Stroll through the interior and courtyard, taking time to look up at the domes, trace patterns and calligraphy, and pause to absorb the atmosphere.

Choose the standard guided visit to the mosque, or upgrade to the full guided tour option to spend more time on site and explore the Hippodrome and Egyptian Obelisk while you're here.

Explore the Blue Mosque on a small-group guided tour with a licensed English-speaking guide and hotel pickup and drop-off.

Getting started

Begin with convenient hotel pickup, then travel to the Blue Mosque with your group. You will remove your shoes and pass through security checks before moving together toward the main prayer hall to start the guided portion of your visit.

Blue Mosque

What to expect

This guided visit focuses on the interior prayer hall and key architectural features of the Blue Mosque as an active place of worship.

Features

Gain entry to the Blue Mosque and walk into the main prayer area, where your guide points out significant elements of its design and layout as you move through the space.

Listen as your guided tour with a licensed English-speaking guide provides historical and architectural insights throughout, connecting what you see to the story of how and why the mosque was built.

Receive dress code assistance, including scarves to borrow if needed, so you can enter respectfully without having to arrange coverings in advance.

Experience the site in a small group for better interaction, with time to ask questions and engage directly with the guide during your full guided tour or standard rate option, as per the variant selected.

Use the included hotel pickup and drop-off to complete the experience without arranging your own transport to and from the mosque.

Wrapping up

At the end of the guided portion inside the Blue Mosque, you return to your vehicle and are taken back to your hotel using the included hotel pickup and drop-off service, so you do not need to organize onward transport on your own.
