Getting started

Check in by 10am at the Mario Boat Tours office on Hvar’s main square or at the Mario Boat Tours Corner near Hula Hula bar. After a quick introduction and safety briefing, board your boat and meet your skipper before departure at 10:30am.

This sightseeing cruise explores the Adriatic’s standout natural wonders and coastal gems, including the famous Blue Cave on Biševo and the Green Cave near Vis. The route also features scenic beaches, hidden coves, and a lunch break on the Pakleni Islands.

Features

Blue Cave (Biševo): Enter this renowned sea cave by small boat to witness its vivid blue glow, created by sunlight reflecting beneath the rocks.

Green Cave (Ravnik Island): See the cave’s emerald waters, colored by algae on the walls; swimming and snorkelling are possible here (entrance fee applies).

Stiniva Cove (Vis): Visit the pebble beach framed by dramatic cliffs, voted Europe’s most beautiful beach, with a small bar for refreshments.

Blue Lagoon (Budikovac): Enjoy a swim or snorkel in clear turquoise waters around this tiny island, home to just two residents.

Palmižana Bay (Pakleni Islands): Relax in a bay known for sandy beaches and botanical gardens, with time to dine at local restaurants.

Secret Beach (Vis, optional): If time allows, your skipper may take you to a secluded local spot known only to insiders.

What to bring

Pack a light jacket for the boat ride, along with your swimsuit and towel.

What’s not allowed

Swimming inside the Blue Cave is strictly prohibited.

Bulky luggage, large bags, or suitcases are not allowed onboard.

Alcohol and any illegal substances are not permitted during the tour.

Pets are not allowed on this experience.

Accessibility

This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Guests should be comfortable boarding and getting off boats, as it may be challenging for those with limited mobility.
