The exhibits were marvellous and allow the viewer a little insight to the thinking of the man. It wasn't full so there was time to examine the works. This was more enjoyable than the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and Basilica of Peter combined.

The biopark brings together many different animals, but the living conditions of the animals seemed very difficult to me: small spaces, no or very few green areas, some enclosures entirely made of concrete...., we who often go to animal parks in France felt sorry for these animals at the Rome biopark.

The museum was good, but could be better. The audio tour needs to have better structure that goes along with specific exibits. I suggest a numbering system on each exibit that can be followed with the audio. I felt a little lost when going through the rooms and had to find the exibit the audio was speaking about. Confusing at first, but in the end it was still a good tour. We also had a little trouble finding the place using the "Where To Go?" link in the email. That link brings you to longitude and latitude coordinates that are wrong. 41°53'49.2"N 12°28'19.2"E 41.897000, 12.472000. Around the corner by the museum, but wrong. Also a bit confusing when walking into the courtyard of the musem. There was what looked like a ticket office as soon as you enter the courtyard, but the actual ticket office and entrance to the musem is accross the courtyard on the other side.

The Bioparco of Rome is very large, clean, pleasant, a good environment for the animals, lots of nature, excellent service, I think the entrance fee is little for an adventure of that level, and especially knowing how much it costs to support such a place, I left happy and eager to return.

Bioparco di Roma

Take a break from all the Renaissance art and make your way to Bioparco di Roma, one of Europe's best animal-based attractions! Not only is it fun for the kids, but you’ll be awestruck by its conservation efforts. The zoological garden was founded in 1911 and has since evolved into a park that focuses on conservation, educational programs, and animal-friendly enclosures. It is home to a nearly 1,200-strong family of wildlife from about 200 different species of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians! Say hello to the big and small animals from every continent around the globe, as you walk through the lush botanical surroundings. Find out what dangers threaten their habitats and food chain, and how you can help save them from extinction. Kids will especially enjoy spotting the hippos, giraffes, tigers, bears, leopards, snakes, birds, and more!

Leonardo da Vinci Museum

If there's anywhere in the world you can explore the brilliance of Leonardo da Vinci, it has to be Rome, Italy. The Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum brings to life the genius of one of the most extraordinary men the world has ever known. Da Vinci was an artist, an engineer, a sculptor, an architect, and an inventor rolled into one, after all. Even though he lived over 500 years ago, Leonardo da Vinci was well ahead of his time. He designed flying machines, robots, submarines, and machines that work on solar energy. Admire some of these inventions that were built in line with his designs. These include digging and lifting equipment, the bicycle, the machine gun, and others. You can touch and play with almost all the machines on display, or build your version of a bridge that Da Vinci invented.

Enter the Room of Mirrors and find out how da Vinci's study of light led to the invention of photography and projection. You will even get to see full-sized reproductions of The Last Supper, Mona Lisa, and Lady with an Ermine, some of the most iconic paintings in the world. Don't miss out on checking out the upper floor, home to the Vatican court: the Sacra Rota and the Sala dei Cento Giorni, frescoed by Vasari. You can also access the remains of a burial temple dating back to 43 BC, located in the same building.
