I absolutely love Rome! It was our first time visiting Italy and seeing the Colosseum was definitely on our list. It has been on my bucket list for 50 yrs. The Colosseum was spectacular which tonnes of history! I unfortunately didn't realize until we got back to our hotel that I pre-purchased the audio guide, which would have been helpful during the visit, so that we had a better understanding. Oh well, my bad. Seeing the Roman Forum was also amazing! So rich in culture and history! I was so privleged to have been a guest in the country, the city and the Colosseum! Thank you!!

We happened to visit on a very hot day, but even so, thanks to the app—which tells you where to enter—and the offline tickets, getting in was super fast. I highly recommend this app!!!

This is an amazing experience. That being said it is much different than 20 years ago with the amount of security and how you have to pay to see everything. We were provided with the app to listen to the guided tour. We didn't use it. It was a bit chaotic trying to find the meeting point and we rushed and there was no need too. Again if you don't care for the commentary I'd just wait and book directly through colosseum. The security lines were short.

The experience was very nice! We found a great number of species of animals, birds, fish, butterflies and reptils. The park is absolutely beautiful! The nice part was when a pickok evaded from its sorounding and came to us :)) It was very amusing!

Bioparco di Roma

The Bioparco has been wowing visitors since 1911. This zoological bio park is home to 1,200 wildlife from around 200 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. It is also famous for its conservation efforts and educational programs. While you're here, learn about the dangers facing animal habitats and food chain systems, and how you can help save these beautiful animals from extinction. Along the way, see hippos, giraffes, tigers, bears, leopards, snakes, birds, monkeys, and more. Your tickets are timed so you must enter the Colosseum at the time slot selected at the time of booking.

If you choose an afternoon slot to visit the Colosseum, you will not have sufficient time to visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill on the same day. Should you wish to conclude your visit on the same day, please plan your visit to the Colosseum accordingly.

Note: Entry to the Colosseum is free on the first Sunday of every month.

For reasons related to the needs of animals, the following departments will close:

REPTILARY: 60 minutes before the park closes

FELINI (lions, lynxes, leopards, tigers): 60 minutes before the park closes

CHIMPANZÉ: 45 minutes before the park closes

GIRAFFES, BEARS, ELEPHANTS, RHINOS: 30 minutes before the park closes
