Such a peaceful place! First time visiting Barcelona and was unsure where to start. Found Headout had suggestions and off I went to the Aquarium. Surprisingly peaceful despite all the children visiting. Very informative. Lots to see and learn from. Better than the UK Aquariums i have been to. Would recommend and go again

I enjoy every minute of the Aquarium! It is really impressive this space, you can stay for hours just to look at the dinamics of fishes, the colors, the corals. We received the tickets fast, there was no problem, everything is very well organized. Thank you!

The fish are so colorful! Great idea to have treadmills in front of the large aquariums so that everyone can see well. Amazing discus fish, especially the red ones! All of the aquariums are super clean, no algae, and the fish look very healthy! These are professionals at work!

It was an incredible experience for the whole family. I went with my sponsor, his children and my wife, and we all enjoyed it very much. The Zoo is very well kept, and the kids loved seeing the elephants and giraffes up close. Then the Aquarium was the highlight. The famous tunnel that goes underwater, surrounded by sharks and manta rays, is truly spectacular and an experience we will not forget. I highly recommend this combined option to anyone traveling with kids or family - it's an easy way to plan and guarantees a fun-filled day!

I had an amazing enjoyable experience here in Barcelona zoo! The staff were so friendly and the grounds around the zoo were so nice and clean! There was a great display of animals and there is amazing plants planted all around the zoo also. It is very central in Barcelona and great for all ages to enjoy !

Barcelona Zoo

Situated in the lush Ciutadella Park, the Barcelona Zoo boasts over 400 species of mammals, reptiles, and birds, including rare and endangered ones. Check out the fascinating zoo spaces that display an impressive array of diversity - Land of Dragons, Terrarius, Aviary, Farm, Primate Gallery, Titis gallery, Palm trees, Flying Birdhouse, and Biodiversity Garden. Housed within them are the red panda, the African Savannah elephant, the Sumatran tiger, the Komodo dragon, the common anaconda, the alligator, and many more species.

Should your little ones need to let off some pent-up energy, the zoo also has two play areas for children; one of which is equipped with games adapted for children with reduced mobility.

Aquarium Barcelona

The Aquarium has more treasures for you with some incredible Mediterranean creatures housed in 35 aquariums. Unique in Europe, the Oceanarium is the largest aquarium with species such as moray eels, rays, and the real stars of Aquarium Barcelona - the bull shark and Milberto's silky shark. You can also enjoy an underwater walk in an 80-meter-long transparent tunnel. Feel like you are walking on the ocean floor as you admire the sharks and the other curious species.

Other unmissable attractions include the themed aquariums, where you can learn the small details on marine flora and fauna that are usually missed out in large aquariums; the permanent exhibition Jewels of the Sea where you can admire the colorful shells and molluscs. Don't forget to visit Explore! - an interactive space where kids can grow closer to the marine world through interactive activities.

Barcelona Zoo

The zoo offers a free wheelchair service. Chairs can be requested at either of the park's two entrances.

Services for children include ergonomic seats where you can leave your baby while using the services, and diaper changers in many of the zoo's restrooms.

Aquarium Barcelona

It is forbidden to feed the animals.

Children are to be kept under supervision.

The Park Management reserves the right of admission and may also, if the conduct of one or more users is not correct, proceed to expulsion from the premises, without the right to claim.

Daily: 10am to 6pm. (last entry at 5pm)

Box office closes at 5pm.

Aquarium Barcelona

Daily: 10am to 8pm.

Ticket offices and entrances are open until one hour before the closing of the facilities.

Your tickets will be emailed to you within 20 minutes of purchase. You must carry a printed copy of the tickets to the venue along with a valid photo ID.

Take the entrance to Barcelona Zoo through Parc de la Ciutadella and redeem your ticket at the box office before going to the turnstiles.
