About Barbie: The Dream Experience - Amsterdam
Barbie: The Dream Experience in Amsterdam offers a vibrant, hands-on journey through the brand’s cultural legacy. Designed as a walk-through attraction, it combines bold set design, interactive installations, and themed environments that celebrate Barbie’s evolution across fashion, careers, and imagination.
The exhibition covers over 2,000 m² and features twelve themed zones, each representing a different era or aspect of Barbie’s 65-year history.
You can walk through life-size recreations of Barbie’s most famous vehicles, including her pink Corvette and Dream Camper.
A real Barbie DreamHouse, complete with a slide, serves as the grand finale and most popular photo spot in the experience.
On-site cameras in every room capture free photos and GIFs, which are delivered to visitors via QR code and email.
The exhibition was developed in partnership with Mattel and WONDR, making it an official, licensed Barbie attraction.

Main Entrance (WONDR Experience)
Located at Meeuwenlaan 88, Amsterdam Noord, the Main Entrance is directly at the front of the WONDR Experience building. Look for the vibrant pink Barbie signage and themed decor at street level. The entrance is just a short walk from the Noorderpark metro station and is easily reached by bike, car, or ferry from Amsterdam Centraal.
Regular Hours: Open daily from 9:30am to 8pm, with each visit for 90 minutes
On-school visit: Open from 9:30am to 9pm
Complimentary lockers are available for all guests to store bags and personal items during the visit.
A Barbie-themed boutique offers exclusive Mattel merchandise and souvenirs.
The Barbie Café serves themed snacks and drinks. Purchases are not included in the ticket price.
Toilets are available on site for visitor convenience.
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, including all exhibition zones and restrooms.
Service animals are welcome throughout the experience.
