Getting started

Arrive at Bali Zoo in Singapadu, Gianyar, and check in for your selected Elephant Explorer session. If you’ve chosen the transfer option, shared hotel pickup and return transfers are available from selected areas including Ubud, Seminyak, Kuta, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Sanur. Your experience begins aboard a ranger car, setting the stage for a closer look at Bali Zoo’s elephants.

What to expect

• Travel through the elephant habitat while your guide introduces you to the elephants and shares insights into their personalities, behaviour, diets, and daily lives.

• Get closer to Bali Zoo’s resident elephants in a supervised setting designed around respectful wildlife interaction. Learn about their bond with their mahouts and how they are cared for.

• Take part in a hands-on feeding experience, creating a memorable connection while learning more about elephant care and natural behaviours.

• Your admission lets you continue exploring the zoo, home to more than 350 animals from Indonesia and around the world, after your Elephant Explorer session.

• A welcome drink and refreshments are included, along with Elephant Explorer merchandise to remember your wildlife experience.

• Choose from four Elephant Explorer sessions running throughout the day, from 9:30am to 4:30pm, subject to the selected slot.
