CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5I loved the history that was presented with the paintings. It gave me a deeper appreciation for what the artists were depicting- from family life to outdoor life all those years ago in that part of the world. Plus, I was exposed to artists I hadn't heard of before. Really wonderful artists. But honestly, one of the most special moments for me was the Rembrandt painting which depicted a husband and wife, who was wearing a red dress. It was a tender and beautiful painting. I especially wanted to see it because I believe that this painting was the one that Van Gogh stood in front of for a very long time as noted by observers who saw him there. I stood in front of it too, though probably not for as long as he did. Anyway, it was a lovely experience.BBranka D
GroupVerified booking3 days ago5/5The Rijksmuseum truly impressed me. Besides the famous masterpieces, the highlight of my visit was discovering Hendrick Avercamp and his beautiful painting Winter Landscape with Skaters. I had never heard of him before, and I completely fell in love with that lively winter scene on the ice. I even regret not picking up the magnet with the painting in the museum shop. The whole museum is inspiring, well‑organized, and full of wonderful surprises — I left feeling enriched and delighted by this unexpected discovery.IInoshan C

There are so many incredible masterpieces to see, and the atmosphere makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in Amsterdam!JJanne R
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5Having our tickets before we arrived meant we err able to go straight to the exhibits. First stop was the Nightwatch. An emotional moment seeing this great masterpiece. But the museum was more than just the one painting, it was one of the greatest collections I have ever seen. An absolute must must do.GGabriele B
GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5A brewery tour with a twist. A mix of activities, a bit of history, a bit of the art of brewing, and a bit of a show to experience and help shape yourself. The beer was delicious, and the tour’s finale in the cellar was the perfect finishing touch. Although we were the oldest at 70, we felt right at home among the younger crowd.
Combine centuries of Dutch artistic achievement at the Rijksmuseum with the interactive brewing heritage of the Heineken Experience. Together, these two Amsterdam icons offer a well-rounded look at the country's cultural and industrial legacy.
